FlightCare earns a commission from Compensair when users reach Compensair via our website and submit a flight compensation claim. This is an affiliate relationship managed through the TravelPayouts affiliate network.
The commission is paid by Compensair from their own fee revenue. It does not affect the fee Compensair charges you. Compensair's fee to you is fixed at their standard rate: typically 25% + VAT of the successful claim amount. If your claim is unsuccessful, you pay nothing to Compensair and FlightCare earns nothing.
The practical effect is: by using FlightCare as your entry point, you get exactly the same Compensair service and the same fee structure as if you had found Compensair directly. FlightCare's commission does not increase your cost.
No. The statutory compensation amounts (£220/£350/£520 under UK261), the eligibility rules, the limitation periods, and the information about airline tactics on this site are all determined by statute or publicly available data — they are not influenced by our commercial relationship with Compensair.
We also point out throughout the site that you can claim directly with the airline yourself, at no cost at all. We are not interested in selling you something you don't need — the commission only arises when Compensair wins a claim you couldn't have settled yourself.

This is the standard technical disclosure used to inform search engines and browsers that a commercial relationship exists.
