TESTIMONIALS

What can I say, thank you a million times for looking after my 65year old mum in the final months of her life. The love and affection shown to my mum was beyond belief and not just to my mum but all residents living there. Staff on every level took real time to chat, love and care for my mum, I would recommend you to anyone who wants their loved one to receive top class care. I will miss going there myself as it was such a big part of the last 5 months. I can’t end this review without mentioning the food as it was fabulous, more like fancy restaurant food than what you would expect in a home. The chefs are amazing and it’s lovely that people living in a care home get to enjoy delicious meals every day, it was a big comfort to me as my mum didn’t eat for months before going to Beechcroft, then she couldn’t get enough, thank you.

Kirsten A (Daughter of Resident)

We couldn’t have been more pleased with our decision to have mum cared for in her latter months than at Beechcroft.
We reviewed many homes for my mum and selected after careful thought Beechcroft.
The manager and staff were always caring, friendly and very knowledgeable.

Thank you for making such a very difficult and sad time, of course, less difficult. We sincerely appreciate all your care and wonderful attention.

Philip B (Son of Resident)

With living a long distance away, I pop in to see Mum at all hours within reason when I can as I am working through the day. Staff are always so polite and caring. No matter what time I arrive, Mum’s room is so clean and tidy and Mum always looks clean and smart. They do all they can for her and I cannot praise them enough – they are all so caring and deserve a medal.

Alan V (Son of Resident)

I am always kept up to date with my wife’s care plan and any issues of her care and behaviour. The manager is stamping her influence for the better on the home and is always available to discuss ideas and any concerns I may have. The lead carers and the rest of the staff are always willing to converse with me on any aspects of my wife’s care. Improvements on room security have taken place. New activities manager needs time to have her influence.

Colin D (Husband of Resident)

Staff friendly, treat my husband with care and respect. I am totally at ease with them. Never seen anybody ill-treating anyone. Feel the home is getting better with staff, i.e. more settled now with a new manager. Very hard working staff (place not perfect) but I am happy they are looking after my husband.
